Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is bidding on a Customs and Border
Patrol (CBP) effort and contingently hiring for an experienced
Satellite Communications Senior Systems Analyst who will travel and
support required tasks such as preventive maintenance, equipment
repairs, and modifications.MAIN place of performance for this
position:Air and Marine Operations (AMO) Homestead, Florida.Further
places of performance / ON CALL duties required at the
following:
- Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
- Jacksonville, FL
- New Orleans, LA
- Tucson, AZ
- Albuquerque, NM
- San Diego, CA
- Miami, FL
- San Angelo, TX
- Houston, TX
- Air and Marine Operations Center - Riverside, CA
- NASOC Jacksonville, FL
- NASOC Corpus Christi, TX
- Caribbean Air and Marine Operations Center Levittown, Puerto
Rico
- Bellingham, WAEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties of
this position will include the knowledge, skills, and abilities
(KSAs) of the following systems:This position will travel to the
listed different locations and correct all equipment outages along
with an applicable outage report to be provided to the affiliated
AMO branch/unit.Outages are defined as an unplanned interruption(s)
that result in loss of communication to any MILSATCOM radio
sites.This shall include:
- Normal business hours technical support via telephone.
- Coordination of repair services for MILSATCOM assets.
- Corrective Maintenance - onsite within 48 hours of notification
of outage.
- Preventive Maintenance - one (1) annual visit per site per
year.RequirementsExperience:Minimum 4+ years of experience as a
SATCOM Communications Technician.US Military or commercial
electronics training and experience concerning:
- PSC-5D Tactical Radio.
- ARC 210, ARC 182 UHF/VHF Communications Systems.
- ARC-210, RT-1824(c) SATCOM, HQ, and HF/VHF integration.
- COTHEN, Cellular Over-the-Horizon Enforcement Network.
- URC-200, Line Of Site Transceiver.Education:Minimum High School
Degree.Clearance:SECRET Active/Current.Special NoteThe position is

compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $170,000
(annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical
salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's
total compensation package for employees.
