Senior Credit Officer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Credit Officer to oversee the quality of the commercial portfolio and ensure compliance with credit culture.
Key Responsibilities

Make credit decisions on requests, including new business, renewals, and modifications
Review business opportunities and provide insights on risks and necessary information for decision-making
Mentor and lead line lenders while participating in risk management committees

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or mathematics, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of commercial credit and/or lending experience
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead in a consensus-driven environment
Knowledge of industries served and current business trends
