difference.The Facilities Coordinator:Pay Grade: $29.49-47.19
hourly
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of
facilities projects, including renovations, repairs, and equipment
installations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including
schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to
ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and
timelines.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays,
escalating concerns to the Facilities Director when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses and support
budget tracking.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on project
outcomes and metrics.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and
regulatory requirements.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are related and
appropriate to the position and area. The above responsibilities

- Promotes adherence to the Health Sciences Compliance Program,
the Howard University Code of Ethics and the Health Sciences
Standards of Conduct.
- Attends annual and periodic mandatory Compliance Program
training including the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy training.
- Participates in activities that promote adherence to federal
healthcare program requirements.
- Actively participates in Health Sciences Compliance Program
activities.
- Adheres to the requirements of the HIPAA Privacy Policies and
Procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of patients, families, and
staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with
attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS
Project, Smartsheet, Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
setting.

- Collaboration and Teamwork.Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree
in project management, business, construction management, or a
related field preferred.
- 2+ years of project coordination or administrative support
experience, preferably in a healthcare or facilities environment.At
