SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Production Controller that oversees material handling, storage, parts procurement, and overall supply chain in a production environment.



Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Under minimal supervision, plans and coordinates production plan and schedule using considerations such as low cost, timeliness, and effectiveness.
Collaborates within project teams comprised of engineers and project managers to launch various demands.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between engineers and the Technical Manager.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Coordinates all production and repair functions in the execution of assigned work scope.
Updates and maintains the Integrated Master Schedule to ensure proper planning of all projects.
Records and documents material movements and disposition from incoming receipt through repair cycle, and prepares return shipment to customer.
Logs and tracks production progress and reviews factors affecting production schedules.
Locates materials and supplies by receiving or pulling.
Sources and orders materials as required.
Verifies materials listed on repair orders and monitors material inventories.
Identifies, pulls, packs, and crates stock for shipment.
Creates and updates tracking reports and correspondence.
Trains lower-level production coordinators.
Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials.



Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six (6)+ years of experience in production coordination.
Two (2)+ years of experience in materials management.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Work requires some knowledge of business and a strong command of the English language.
Ability to speak effectively over the telephone and before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
