V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst 4 for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications - PMP or other project certifications desired.


Education and Experience - Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business requirements.: 5 Years.
Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint.: 5 Years.
Expert level knowledge creating, identifying, collecting, and managing business and IT requirements (requirements traceability).: 5 Years.
Ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals.: 5 Years.
Demonstrated experience working in a project management office or supporting numerous projects simultaneously.: 5 Years.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information: 5 Years.
Experience working independently, effectively managing multiple tasks and directional changes.: 5 Years
Develops and/or contributes to project reports including, but not limited to, project status, budget, and dashboards.: 3 Years.
Experience with agile project management projects is a plus: 3 Years.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently, a self-starter and have an inquisitive nature.: 5 Years.
Experience working with Medicaid IT and/or Healthcare systems is a plus.: 3 Years.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, frequent change professionally, have interpersonal skills, communication, facilitation, and presentation (written, oral) skills.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities: Develop expertise in the customers' business applications.
Diagram current processes and proposed modifications using process flows, context diagrams and data flow diagrams.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps and deficiencies that require a business, technical or blended approach for resolution.
Discover and document requirements and user stories with a focus on improving both business and technical processing.
Composed requirements and create clear, concise user stories that are easy to understand and implement by technical staff.
Coordinate and Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with Business and ensure Project Managers/Owner/Leadership are informed of progress.
Work with the Project team members and business stakeholders to understand business processes and pain points.
Utilize progressive elaboration; map stories to technical design specifications to be used by internal staff to develop the system modifications.
Assist Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog.
Propose alternative solutions that balance cost and benefit and adequately test a solution's feasibility for business and technical compatibility.
Identify and group related user stories to document the dependencies and associated business processes.
Collaborate with PMO and IM staff and vendor partners as they are engaged on tasks to formulate, detail and test potential and implemented solutions.
Perform Quality Analyst functions such as defining test objectives, test plans and test cases, and executing test cases.
