Job Description:

Skyline Terrace Nursing Home and Memory Lane Assisted Living is now hiring certified medication aides to help care for our residents on the 3pm to 11pm or 11pm - 7am shift (pay range includes shift differential). The ideal medication aide will be detail-oriented and possess in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills.

*Responsibilities include but not limited to:*
* Deliver routine daily medications to patients.
* Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
* Follow written or verbal instruction on how to manage medications.
* Record medication dosages and times.
* Observe patients and document changes.
* Uphold all health and safety standards.
* Respond to patient emergency call bells to identify patient needs.

*Requirements:*

High school diploma or relevant qualification.

*Must be certified medication aide*.

Nursing Aide certification preferred (additional compensation for both certifications)

A minimum of 2 years experience as a medication aide.

Able to work flexible schedule with every other weekend required.

Must have a good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.'
