Job Description:
Overview:Oversees operation of First Aid and supervises line and
supervisory staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises, schedules, trains, developes, counsels, and
conducts performance appraisals on Safety Area Supervisors.
- Assists in overseeing daily operation of the Safety
department.
- Participates in department officer of the day (OD)
rotation.
- Serves as department liaon as assigned.
- Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with
other departments.
- Works directly with the Safety and Security leaders to develop
safety policies and procedures.
- Resolves guest and employee issues.
- Assists with administrative departmental duties, including
staffing, budget, payroll, filing, etc.
- Keeps departmental paperwork, including manuals, up to
date.
- Communicates park and department information to department
employees.
- Ensures completion and follow up of routine fire and safety
inspections.
- Partners with departments to ensure compliance with OSHA and
other regulations.
- Assists outside agenices with inspections, as needed.
- Ability to successfully complete all training.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid EMT certification (Basic).
- Must possess a valid CPR certification
- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Must have previous experience as a Safety Area Supervisor.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet
business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company
policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or
older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal,
DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per
Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
law.
