Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Access Advocate I-ED.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient registration, including updating demographics and
verifying insurance
Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns
during registration
Collect patient financial obligations and educate on available
financial assistance programs
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or GED
6 months experience in a healthcare setting or 1 year in customer
service
Must pass the Patient Access Academy with a score of 85% or higher
within 6 months of start
Basic understanding of insurance and medical terminology
preferred
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Products
