Job Description:

CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop distributed, API-driven systems that handle traffic volume across CoStar's web and mobile products. Design and develop high-performance software applications, standards, and code reviews. Write concise, readable, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure high quality software delivery. Develop comprehensive application testing procedures to ensure high quality applications. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with architecting, designing, and developing large-scale distributed, services-oriented systems and web applications in an Agile environment; 5 years of experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React, and Node.js; 2 years of experience with source control and CI/CD technologies including Git and TFS; 2 years of experience with developing enterprise-level web applications using RESTful web services; 2 years of experience with SQL Server and MongoDB; 2 years of experience with ES6 syntax, including arrow functions, classes, and template literals for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code; and 2 years of experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, and CSS preprocessors.
