Job Description:

SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking Network Engineers for our client in the Newport News, VA area.

Summary:

The Network Engineers are needed for the implementation and deployment of an enterprise level Network overhaul project.

Job Duties:

* Coordinate implementation with 1300 branches.

* Streamline procedure.

* Support all hardware, systems, and software for networks.

* Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.

* Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers and associated systems.

* Requires thorough knowledge of networking essentials.

* Oversee software and network security.

* Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience required.

* Candidates will be working by phone with all the remote locations.

Technical Skills and Requirements for Network Engineer:

* Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE

* Systems: Windows, Cisco Systems, UNIX, Linux, Novell

* Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS

Other Technical Skills Required:

Experience with Windows, Cisco Systems, 2900 series routers, DMVPN, MPLS Internet Breakout, Guest Wi-Fi, Switching, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS.
