Job Description:
A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Utilization
Review Specialist - PASRR (Remote Nurse).
Key Responsibilities
Assist in adjudication of medically complicated claims
Participate in policy development and assist in drafting provider
manuals and bulletins
Review, assess, and pre-approve selected non-emergency medical
services
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Active nursing license (RN or LPN) in the United States with no
restrictions
Minimum of two years of Medicaid or related healthcare experience
preferred
Knowledge of the PASRR process preferred
Strong analytical skills for making medical necessity
determinations
