Sentara Heart Hospital located on the Campus of Sentara Norfolk
General in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse Traveler
for the Advanced Heart Failure Unit! - Traveler rate pays up to
$75/hr and Potential $5000 Sign on Bonus. Eligible for $5000 Sign
on Bonus living more than 50 miles from the facility working.Shift:
Full time Temp 14 week contract, Night ShiftMust be skilled with
titrating drips and experience related to Hemodynamics.Department
Overview:---24 bed unit that provides high acuity cardiac care to
patients with severe heart failure, pre/post heart transplant, and
pulmonary hypertension.---Work with high tech equipment such as
mechanical circulatory support including ventricular assist devices
(LVAD) and telemetry monitors.---Environment relies on 24 hours
consistent communication and intricate interdisciplinary teamwork
skills.---Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity
level.The Advanced Heart Failure is an ACCN Gold Beacon Award Unit
