Job Description:
Fortive is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Performance and
Learning Solutions professional to support our commitment to
cultivating leadership excellence and fostering a culture of
continuous learning. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global
Talent Development and Learning, this influential, highly visible
role will design and implement strategic solutions that support the
workforce to meet the evolving needs of the business. This
individual will lead the full lifecycle of development experiences
- from needs analysis, to design and delivery, impact evaluation,
reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder management and
socialization. The leader will contribute at both a hands-on and at
a strategic level to shape the future of leadership development and
learning at Fortive in ways that are aligned to the broader talent
strategy.Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategic learning solutions that align
with business needs, following best practices to drive employee
growth and development that result in improved business
performance.
- Act as a performance and learning consultant to business
leaders, ensuring learning programs address critical capability
gaps found in organizational strategic talent planning and
assessment data.
- Measure effectiveness of initiatives by managing a
comprehensive evaluation framework, including business impact and
ROI of solutions.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual summits, workshops, and
learning experiences for global audiences.
- Manage enterprise-wide solutions that impact a variety of
stakeholders, which requires strong project management and
organizational change management capabilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and
stakeholders to effectively manage initiatives and stay abreast of
organizational needs.
- Develop people and stakeholders through effective leadership,
coaching, mentoring and performance assessment at all levels.
- Consult with subject matter experts to formulate program scope
and technical support necessary to support performance and learning
solutions.
- Manage a pool of subject matter expert vendors (e.g., coaches,
consultants, facilitators) in the deployment of performance and
learning solutions. Evaluate effectiveness of vendors and
continuously align vendor capabilities to address the needs of the
organization.
- Collaborate with business leaders, other HR Centers of
Excellence, and the Fortive Business System Office to identify and
address current and future learning needs, ensuring alignment with
strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR vice presidents, HR
business partners to identify and remove obstacles related to
learning content, technology, and program implementation.
- Integrate performance and learning priorities across the talent
lifecycle and within embedded employee experience moments.
- Leverage the latest learning technologies, including artificial
intelligence, to enhance learner experiences, support knowledge
retention, and sustain behavior change.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional
growth by increasing visibility and accessibility to existing
learning resources.
- Lead process improvements by evaluating and enhancing learning
strategies, frameworks, and operational workflows.
- Administer, forecast, and manage budget for performance and
learning initiatives.
- Design and continuously optimize the key operational frameworks
and processes of the COE to improve effectiveness and quality of
service delivery.You're Good At:

alongside it.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Business
Administration, Learning & Development, Education, or a related
field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant experience through one of the following: Professional
services role with a global management consultancy firm or niche
consultancy, internal leadership development, or learning and
performance role in industry or related line role in industry, in
which you gained exposure to and led large-scale, highly visible
projects.
- Must have 2 years of experience in advising and guiding
organizations on complex transformation programs with key domain
expertise in change strategy, business readiness, business
adoption, visioning, execution, stakeholder management, and
communication.
- Must have 2 years of experience managing a team of
professionals.
- Must have 1 year of experience presenting and interacting with
executive audiences to achieve sponsorship and leadership alignment
on initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of human performance, adult learning theory
and instructional design principles.
- Experience with a variety of learning modalities, including
e-learning, virtual classrooms, in-person training, and embedded
on-the-job learning.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation
skills, with the ability to inspire across diverse stakeholder
groups and learning styles.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
- Experience working in global team environment with multiple
time zones.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, if
needed.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Performance Improvement, Executive
Coaching, Change Management or similar area of expertise.
- Advanced degree in Adult Learning, Organizational Development,
or related field preferred.
- Broad experience and specific knowledge of organizational
transformation, organizational design, talent management, employee
experience, learning and performance management.
