Job Description:

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Senior Project Controls Manager. This is a contract to potential direct hire opportunity with one of the world's most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies and will be located in Alexandria VA. Project is at Dulles Airport

Pay $72/hour

Responsibilities

Manages staff and subconsultants, coordinates workload, and directly supervises and mentors the project controls team as a subject matter expert.
Works with scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules, including all phases of project execution.
Possesses a strong P6 scheduling background, with the ability to develop and track multiple project-level schedules in a program-level environment. Establishes a project work breakdown structure that aligns with the organization's goals, objectives, and tracking needs.
Produces forecasts of total project costs, annual costs, and monthly cash flow costs, providing variance analysis and explanations based on cost-loaded schedules.
Manages the Risk Management process, including driving the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and management of risks.
Assists in coordinating engineering and construction activities in line with overall project schedule requirements, incorporating contractor schedules into overall project schedules.
Provides senior-level general project management support as necessary (e.g., financial/operational budgeting, consolidation, analysis, forecasting; business development; pricing; billing; key client/consultant relationship management).



Education & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus ten years relevant experience. Must have strong cost management, scheduling, and project planning, as well as the communication skills necessary to interface with external departments within the client organization, the management team and other organizations within client organizations.
Prefer PMP - Project Management Professional (PMI) or Professional Scheduling Professional (PSP).
Working knowledge of industry standard software and ERP, Planning & Scheduling, and cost management applications.
